The color of your urine is very much dependent on your level of hydration. If you are effectively hydrated then your urine should be a pale yellow (straw) color. The more dehydrated you become then the darker yellow it will appear.
Of course your hydration levels fluctuate throughout the day so don’t be concerned about the occasional pee of a slightly darker color. But if your urine is consistently dark yellow then you certainly need to think about getting more water into your diet.
